MEET THE TEACHER
Jordan Thomas

Jordan Thomas is a music teacher with many years of experience teaching and connecting with students. Jordan started taking piano lessons as a child, and then continued studying other instruments throughout high school and college. In 2016, he graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA with a Bachelor of Music. For the next few years he served as the Director of Choral Activities at Bettendorf High School where he was in charge of multiple curricular choirs, a competitive show choir, and an annual musical production. Jordan spent three years in Denver, Colorado where he began teaching private piano lessons both online and in person to local students. Recently, Jordan moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he has continued to expand his piano studio.
Jordan brings his years of experience playing and teaching to his private studio. With a high focus on building relationships with students, he hopes to continue helping his students achieve their musical goals.

In 2021, Jordan moved to Denver to begin taking up the musical opportunities offered in a larger metro area. Since moving there, Jordan has begun teaching piano lessons, accompanying choirs, and singing with The Yuletide Carolers.
In 2018, Jordan and his partner moved to Nebraska for a job opportunity. While there he took up what musical opportunities he could amidst the pandemic, including starting private piano lessons to the surrounding area.
Fresh out of college, Jordan began teaching at Bettendorf High School where he directed curricular choirs, a competitive show choir, and an annual musical. His choirs were awarded top markings at contests and competitions.
Under the financial support of the full-ride Marshall Scholarship, Jordan continued his musical studies in Cedar Rapids, IA. In 2016 he earned his Bachelor of Music, with an emphasis in music education.
Under the tutelage of renowned music educators Ray Salucka and Beth Zamzow, Jordan began his college studies in music.
In May 2024, Jordan moved to Memphis, TN where he continued to grow and expand his piano studio, now offering in person lessons to local Tennessee students.
